This Video show Flex-Trim's patented DiscSander on a used Blade. The technology can be used both in production of new Wind turbine blades (all sizes) as well as for renovation. The DiscSander can be used for sanding of the general surface - or as a supplement to the BladeSander just to cover edges, roundings and vertical parts of the Blade (such as the root). Compared to alternative technologies such as orbital /excenter sanders it is not uncommon with saving of 80% of the time used.
